A company that provides an innovative all-in-one social media marketing platform that allows small businesses to access one system to manage all of their social media accounts. I led a team to improve both the IT systems and branding. In addition, I setup and implemented several new systems for training programs such as conference call trainings, webinar trainings and online video trainings.
An internet marketing firm that provides marketing and new customer aquisition services to many large corporations. I setup and managed all of the office computer equipment such as computers, wired and wireless networks, phone systems, and printers. I designed, implemented and managed many marketing campaigns which included email campaigns, paid advertising, SEO, and customized landing pages. I managed a team of internal employees and outsourced contractors. I also setup and managed the SQL server, which handled millions of records and required cleansing, aggregating, appending, and deduping from many of their publishing sources.
An internet marketing company that provides automotive dealerships and other marketing partners online customers who are looking to purchase new and/or used vehicles. I participated in the original launch of this company, overseeing the implementation of all of the technologies and business operations. I oversaw the development and implementation of the developed back office ERP system that managed the distribution of data, as well as tracked and managed all sales; and I managed the ongoing operations of that software system. I also implemented and managed all other systems needed such as accounting software, sales management/CRM software, office computer equipment, phone systems, as well as all websites, landing pages and marketing materials. In addition to the technology, I also wrote operating procedures and managed in-house customer service and sales staff.
A marketing partner for Discover Card that focused on referral based marketing. I worked on redesigning their corporate website, as well as creating several landing pages for their marketing campaigns. In addition, I also helped setup and train corporate staff on their back office system that tracked and managed all sales and commission payouts.
A medium sized business specializing in developing custom community amenities (mailboxes, street signs, playgrounds, fencing, etc) for the home building industry. I managed all of their information technology as the IT Manager. I managed the computer equipment (installed, updated and troubleshooted), office network, their enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, as well as supported the 25 person sales staff that were located throughout the whole Southeast Region of the US.
I have coordinated training events for several different companies. I have written training materials, designed presentations, setup the venues, managed the necessary equipment, and handled the marketing for events ranging from small, private trainings to over 400 attendees. In addition to in person trainings, I have also setup and implemented online trainings via conference call systems as well as webinar systems.
Small local advertising/marketing company that I founded during college. I secured two contracts with local area restaurants to sell advertising space in their place of business. I made over a thousand cold calls/visits to local businesses, as well as did all of the design work for the advertisements.
A small business focused on wholesale and retail product sales through online distributions and ecommerce platforms. I have consulted, implemented and managed the technology, which includes desktop and laptop computers, network printers, label printers, and a decal cutter/plotter machines. In addition to the hardware technology, I have also produced many of the graphics used for their products and marketing materials.
Attended for 1 semester pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Technology Management. Received a full academic scholarship and was entered into the honors program based on high school academic achievements. I transferred to Florida College to further pursue collegiate baseball.
Transferred in the spring semester and studied for an associates degree in Management Information Systems as well as in depth Christian biblical studies. Received a Full Athletic Scholarship and led the team to a National Championship.
Graduated cum laude from the University of Tampa with a Bachelors of Science degree majoring in Information Technology Management. Maintained a 3.5 GPA while working 20-40 hours per week and participating in NCAA Division II Varsity Baseball. Received an Academic Transfer Scholarship and was inducted into the Alpha Iota Mu Honor Society for Information Systems.
Almost all of my professional experience, going back 20 years has been implementing and managing information technology systems for small to medium sized businesses. This includes both the hardware and software sides of technology. And throughout that time, I have not only gained personal knowledge and experience but have established relationships with many other technology professionals in various sectors.
